Wider Opportunities
At Freyberg Community School we aim to introduce our ākonga to a wide variety of opportunities, both within the school and out in the community.
Some of the activities we regularly offer within the school are:
- Life Education
- Guest sports coaches – including skateboarding, golf, AFL, ice skating
- Cool Schools
- Team field trips
- Kapa Haka
- Pasifika group
- Culture Day

- Working with the Whau River Trust
- School camp
- Service based learning projects
- Interschool sports competitions
